Description
A Bollywood, Bharatanatyam (Indian Classical Dance) and Indonesian Saman Dance fusion choreography , on a Bollywood song, Hey Ganaraya, presented as the Opening choreography of the 7th Bollywood and Multicultural Dance Festival in Athens, Greece. It is an ode to Lord Ganesha, the elephant headed God , revered as the God of wisdom and remover of obstacles. It is a semi classical fusion choreography borrowing elements from Indian Classical Dance - Bharatanatyam, and Traditional Indonesian Saman Dance.
The performers are the students of the 1st Bollywood Dance Academy Greece, from beginners to intermediate level, and they are performing alongwith the choreographer, Sumon Rudra, and the Artistic Director of the Academy, Anna Dimitratou.
